Orla S. Burke

19 years teaching materials science at Fairview University

  • 🇮🇪 Kilkenny, Leinster, Ireland
  • Fairview University
  • Since 2001
  • English, Spanish
My subject is materials science, and for 25 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Fairview University. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year. If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.

More about Orla

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
