I taught mathematics and social studies at Heritage Secondary School, Cork. I never once raised my voice.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I never once raised my voice.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Orla
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Orla: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
