Orhan Volkan Erdem
Chemistry and biology teacher, Bornova
- 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
- Bornova Girls' School
- 1980 to 2015
- English, Turkish
Bornova Girls' School was my second home. I taught chemistry there from 1980 to 2015, mostly Grade 8.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I never turned anyone away.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Orhan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Orhan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
