Orhan Cem Karakaya
Volunteer mentor with Bornova Learning Hub
- 🇹🇷 Bornova, İzmir, Türkiye
- Bornova Learning Hub
- 2008 to 2024
- English, Turkish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 400 people through Bornova Learning Hub.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
More about Orhan
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Orhan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
