Opio Wekesa Mwangi
Agriculture and drama teacher, Kikuyu
- 🇰🇪 Kikuyu, Kiambu, Kenya
- Maple Ridge Public School
- 2008 to 2023
- English, Swahili, Spanish
I taught agriculture at Maple Ridge Public School in Kikuyu from 2008 to 2023. Most days I taught Year 7, and I never once raised my voice.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
