Opio Mussa Mwende
Volleyball and fitness coach, Kampala
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- 1984 to 2007
- English, Swahili
For 23 years I ran the volleyball program at Eastgate Community Club in Kampala. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I'm learning the guitar.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Opio
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Opio: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
