Opio James Rashidi
Youth basketball coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- Cedar Grove Swimming Club
- Since 2011
- English, Swahili
For 15 years I've run the basketball program at Cedar Grove Swimming Club in Eldoret. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
