Onyango Mugisha Kiptoo
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Eastgate Works
- Since 2013
- English
I've worked in carpentry since 2013. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 340 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
What gifts mean to Onyango: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
