I've been a nurse for 39 years, most of them in cardiology at Brookfield Maternity Hospital in Kadıköy. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
