I've been a nurse for 44 years, most of them in midwifery at Kampala General Hospital in Kampala. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
