I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in midwifery at Eldoret Children's Hospital in Eldoret. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Omondi
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
