Omondi Mukasa Byaruhanga
Physics teacher at Maple Ridge Middle School, 2015 to 2023
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Maple Ridge Middle School
- 2015 to 2023
- English, Swahili
Maple Ridge Middle School was my second home. I taught physics there from 2015 to 2023, mostly Year 9.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Omondi
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Omondi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me physics in 2016 at Maple Ridge Middle School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
