Omondi Mugisha Njoroge
Choir director and singer
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Queensway Band
- 1992 to 2009
- English, Swahili
I've played jazz from 1992 to 2009, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
More about Omondi
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Omondi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
