Omolara Peace Aliyu
Spanish and physics teacher, Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos Public School
- 2004 to 2019
- English, Hausa
I taught Spanish at Lagos Public School in Lagos from 2004 to 2019. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Omolara
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Omolara: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
