Omolara Joy Anyanwu
Local bicycle repair and plumbing
- 🇳🇬 Zaria, Kaduna, Nigeria
- Unity Trades Guild
- Since 1988
- English
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1988 in Zaria and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Omolara
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Omolara: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
