Omolara Chidinma Akinwale
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇳🇬 Onitsha, Anambra, Nigeria
- The Onitsha Studio
- Since 1979
- English, Igbo
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes watercolor. My first show was in 1979 at The Onitsha Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at The Onitsha Studio, which keeps me honest.
What gifts mean to Omolara: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
