Omkar G. Modi
Tabla player and teacher in Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Mumbai Beacon Music School
- 1992 to 2011
- English
I've played tabla from 1992 to 2011, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
