Ömer Taner Karaca
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- The Istanbul Shop
- Since 2004
- English, Turkish
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 2004 in Istanbul and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I sing in a choir.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Ömer
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
