I taught computer science at Windsor Primary School in Gaziantep from 2001 to 2011. Most days I taught Year 7, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Ömer
If you were in my Year 7 class, you probably remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on.
