Omer Adnan Hashmi
Mentor in recovery and nursing
- 🇵🇰 Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan
- Silverlake Community Trust
- 1995 to 2011
- English, Urdu
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 300 people through Silverlake Community Trust.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
What gifts mean to Omer: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
