Omar Zakaria Sarkis
Geography and history teacher, Shubra
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- Shubra Boys' School
- 1983 to 1992
- English
I taught geography at Shubra Boys' School in Shubra from 1983 to 1992. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Omar
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Omar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
