Omar Walid Benali
Mentor in farming and writing
- 🇪🇬 Giza, Giza, Egypt
- Riverside Mentoring Circle
- 1978 to 1994
- English, Arabic
For 16 years I've mentored people in farming and writing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

What gifts mean to Omar: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
