Omar Qasim Tannous
Badminton and fitness coach, The Hague
- 🇳🇱 The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands
- 2007 to 2025
- Dutch, Arabic
I coached badminton at The Hague Swimming Club from 2007 to 2025. Most of my players were between 9 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Omar
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Omar: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
