Omar Mizanur Das
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Nashik, Maharashtra, India
- Little Cedar Grove Works
- Since 1998
- English, Bengali
I've worked in thatching since 1998. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 870 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 22 years later for another job.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Omar
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
