I play traditional drumming and brass band. I started in 1998 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Omar
I wrote my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Omar: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
