Olivia W. Martinez
12 years teaching art in Corpus Christi
- 🇺🇸 Corpus Christi, Texas, United States
- Highland Academy
- 2002 to 2025
- English
I taught art at Highland Academy in Corpus Christi from 2002 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I played music while people worked.
Outside the classroom I watch every football match going. Inside it, I played music while people worked.
More about Olivia
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Olivia: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 2009 at Highland Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Truly.
