Olivia H. Gibson
Guitar player and teacher in Chicago
- 🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United States
- Chicago Baobab Quartet
- 1992 to 2019
- English
I play guitar and sitar. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Olivia
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Olivia: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
