Olga Halyna Shevchuk
Youth rugby coach and mentor
- 🇺🇦 Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine
- Kharkiv Athletic Club
- 2013 to 2023
- English, Ukrainian
For ten years I ran the rugby program at Kharkiv Athletic Club in Kharkiv. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
More about Olga
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Olga: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
