I taught home economics at Liberty Secondary School in Zaporizhzhia from 1980 to 2006. Most days I taught Year 9, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 1,300 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Oleksandr
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Oleksandr: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
