Okta Yanti Tanoto
Religious studies and Spanish teacher, Semarang
- 🇮🇩 Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia
- Since 1988
- English, Indonesian, Spanish
For 38 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Semarang High School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,600 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Okta
If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.

you taught me religious studies in 1993 at Semarang High School. I still remember the rainy sports day. Thank you again.
