For 15 years I was the history teacher at Sakura High School. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 810 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Okta
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Okta: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
