Okta Maya Handoko
35 years teaching social studies in Jakarta Selatan
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Selatan Primary School
- Since 1991
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Okta
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me social studies in 2023 at Jakarta Selatan Primary School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Greetings from Durgapur.

you taught me social studies in 2013 at Jakarta Selatan Primary School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped. Truly.
