Okello Athumani Mwesigwa
Teacher at Nairobi Technical College, loves physical education
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Technical College
- Since 2003
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 710 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Okello
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Okello: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
