Okechukwu Yinka Lawal
Master of tiling, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Little Ashford Shop
- 2004 to 2012
- English
I've worked in tiling from 2004 to 2012. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 180 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Okechukwu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Okechukwu: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
