I taught social studies at Central Boys' School in Warri from 1987 to 2020. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
