I've been a nurse for 43 years, most of them in school nursing at Andes Children's Hospital in Lagos. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
