Okechukwu Chidi Coker
Self-taught graphic design artist
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Old Wudil Gallery
- 1996 to 2015
- English, Hausa, Spanish
I work mostly in graphic design, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1996 at Old Wudil Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I try to remember everyone's name. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Okechukwu
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Okechukwu: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
