Okan Volkan Avcı
Mural painting artist in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Istanbul Pottery
- 1993 to 2013
- English, Turkish
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1993 at Istanbul Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I garden badly but happily.

I bought one of your pieces in 2022. It's still the first thing I see in the morning! Greetings from Pietermaritzburg.
