For 35 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Hope Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I'm learning the guitar. Inside it, I never turn anyone away.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Oğuz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
