I've worked in blacksmithing from 2001 to 2025. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,080 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
