I'm a calligraphy artist based in Dar es Salaam. I've been making things since 1993 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Oakwood Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
