Odhiambo Onyango Opio
Painting and decorating for 19 years in Kasarani
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Northside Workshop
- Since 2007
- English, Swahili
I've worked in painting and decorating since 2007. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 490 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Odhiambo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
