I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Odhiambo
If you were in my Grade 4 class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
What gifts mean to Odhiambo: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
