Odhiambo Juma Mwangi
Upholstery, done properly
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- Old Harbor Repairs
- 1998 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I've worked in upholstery from 1998 to 2024. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 960 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.
More about Odhiambo
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Odhiambo: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
