I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in rehabilitation at Dar es Salaam Maternity Hospital in Dar es Salaam. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
