Ochieng Maina Mwende
Gospel and classical teacher
- 🇰🇪 Thika, Kiambu, Kenya
- Sakura Choir
- Since 2005
- English, Swahili
I've played gospel since 2005, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I make terrible puns.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ochieng
I write my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Ochieng: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
