Ochieng Maina Massawe
Agriculture teacher at Hope High School, 2001 to 2011
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Hope High School
- 2001 to 2011
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ochieng
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Ochieng: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
