Ochieng Athumani Athumani
Teacher at Kilimanjaro Middle School, loves biology

- Kilimanjaro Middle School

I taught biology at Kilimanjaro Middle School in Kinondoni from 1980 to 1994. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I never once raised my voice.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ochieng
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
