Obinna Chinedu Oladipo
Basketball coach, Ikeja Sports Club
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria

For 29 years I've run the basketball program at Ikeja Sports Club in Ikeja. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learn every name in the first week.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Obinna: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
