Obiageli Juliet Okonkwo

Environmental science teacher at Ikeja Middle School, 1988 to 2017

  • Ikeja Middle School

For 29 years I was the environmental science teacher at Ikeja Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Obiageli

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me environmental science in 2024 at Ikeja Middle School. I still remember the end-of-term party!
